LOL I know right? Good news is the US only needs to draw vs Germany to advance. Portugal and Ghana both still alive, whoever wins that game has a chance to advance depending on the results of Germany and US.
If US and Germany draw, they both advance.
If US wins, Germany's GD is 4 which is good for them since Ghana's is -1 and Portugal's is -4.
If Germany wins, US has to hope that Ghana only wins by 1 because that's the only way they'll win the tiebreaker. US would also have to lose by only 1 goal in this scenario. This would give each team a 0 GD but since US beat Ghana they would advance. Portugal has a very small chance of advancing. They would need to beat Ghana by 5 goals to advance.

So US should be hoping for Portugal to win by less than 5 goals because then they automatically get in no matter the result of US/Germany.
