I just remembered this site my brothers showed me when I was like 10, I just remember the slide video. I still get a chucle out of it, especially the second one.

When I saw the sign 150 ft, I knew, just knew that it wouldn't end well.
If only they had a more gradual slope at the bottom (a much wider curve) then it would probably work in real life.

I went for part of my electrical training in Edmonton, Alberta, and while there went to see the world-famous
West Edmonton Mall,
a BEHEMOTH MONSTROSITY which has this waterslide arrangement:
(in the massive waterpark section, this is)

It must really be something to ride on these while the snow is howling and a -50C
(no joke) windchill is ripping outside.

That is the coolest waterslide complex I've ever heard of. If I lived near that I'd be there all the time.

Btw you can tell that isn't in the US, the slides would be wider.

I remember there used to be a place like that here in Denver called Celebrity Sports Center. It really was the coolest thing ever. Tons of bowling lanes, hundreds of arcades, bumper cars, a couple food joints, a couple pools with one huge pool with a couple slides. They demolished it a long time ago but it really was great. It was not as nice as the one in the picture but it was a pioneer of great things such as that. That one there is amazing.

I went down that speed one (red) when I was about 13 in west ed mall. I swear I wasn't touching the slide as I free fell the first bit. I don't know what made me try it but I am scared of it now and can't go down it again.

Btw That mall is one of the biggest in the world and even has a gun range inside and paintball course.

Every time I try to describe that mall, words fail me.
It is a wonder of the World, and one day is not enough to fully explore it all.
Also it would be good if you have LOTS of cash to spend as well.

On second thought forget the cash, just make sure you get lucky at the sampling stations!
(wear your most comfortable shoes or else get some while you're there)

I snuck into the theme hotel and even just that is amazing to see.
Every floor has a different theme, and the hallway and rooms are simply perfect.
For example, on the 'car and truck' *(I forget the real name) floor, a full-sized pickup truck sitting in the room with the bed in the back of it.
That's how 'all-out' the decor is in that place.

The rest of the mall is pretty much the same: a tourist attraction unto itself.
A shopping mall theme park!
