Beat a Game Win a Badge

Reward:
A badge next to your user name.

If this goes well then later we will create an achievement system and these badges will be converted over giving you points and achievements. Your play time will be recorded. If we add an achievement system later then you will receive more points for completing the game faster than everyone else.

Rules:

1. You must play in score mode.
2. The game can not have any known passwords or cheats that would make it super easy to beat.
3. To save a screenshot for this contest, you must submit your score on a screen that proves you beat the game (press F12 in ArcadeOX Score Mode). After you submit the score the screenshot will appear in your "My Screens" link which appears beneath your name next to each post. Find your screenshot and post it here. A mod will verify it and give you a badge in a day or two. If the game does not have a screen that proves you beat the game then it can not be used for this contest.
4. Score Mode does not have saves so this contest is not designed for long games like RPGs. With long games, your only option is to leave the game running for days and pause when you are not playing. If the game is closed at any point then you will have to start over from the beginning.
5. Multiple people can win, it does not matter if you are first.

If you need clarification on rules 2 and 3, post a link to the game and a mod will let you know more specifics. Search GameFaqs.com for cheats before asking if a game will be accepted. Not all cheats from GameFaqs work so test the cheats before giving up on the game.

Alrighty.. Double Dragon 2 is GOING DOWN. Too bad Sonic 1, 2, 3, TMNT 2 and 3 have warp cheats. Also might as well do SD Valis.

What if you already have a game that was beaten a while back and still have proof of completion? Should I beat the game again or is that valid to submit?

Kong, would, for example, the results from the last Team Contest count since it was all about beating games?

Wouldn't only score mode count? If this is true I have many screens of me beating DD2?

Question: Ya know how most of the NES/SNES Megaman series has passcodes that start you out at Wily? Can they be allowed? Since technically Wily's castle is the hardest stages in the game.

If it meets all the requirements then it will count. If you can find the image proving you did it then post it here. If it is not on the score board but you did submit it in score mode let me know and I will see if I can find it.

WOOT! this is an awesome idea I have a whole new reason to beat Castlevania now! I dont beat games very often.. but ill do my best^^



question: do you need to be the FIRSt to beat it? OR can you get a badge just for winning?

I added a new rule to the first post, search gamefaqs.com for possible cheats before asking if a game will be counted. Test the cheats before giving up on the game because not all gamefaqs cheats are real.

Tried DD2, couldn't get them to work. I THINK I remember those only being able to work in the Japanese version or something.. on the Famicom.

Also Kong, I beat Contra NES on score mode, I misunderstood the requirement and thought it was the NES version and posted an image of it at the start of last contest.

Level Select's code is the same as the 30 live code so I am sure it don't work.

What about a finished game but only shows the score? Like this score for example, it's at the end of the game after finishing it.

Well Dojah could possibly back me up on this one. We were both competing for the high score on this one back and foward. Both of us actually beat the game multiple times.
