Twilight: love it, hate it?
I personally dislike the movie because it turned half my grade's girls into these freaks who walk around like the evil characters in a FF game.

Ha! Ha! That ain't nothing. My wife and aunt have watched Twilight at least 20 times. They have been completely taken over by this movie. Oh and they own all the books........

Re: Twilight: love it, hate it?
That Blade pic is awesome, I rated you up for making me laugh.
I don't like Twilight but it doesn't bother me much. It's just another boring romance/vampire book. It's only so popular because it's targeted at young girls.

Love it. But only because I love terrible movies.

Re: Twilight: love it, hate it?
uhhh.... I'm kind of at a neutral standpoint with it for starters, but certain things that make it worse:
- They combined a classic horror icon with romance... wait... 2 classic horror icons, werewolves too.
- it's hardcore romance which is annoying
- girls never shut up about it, that's because they are just watching it because they find the characters attractive and are suckers for romance.
I can also see why some people like it:
- It's a new concept, something that hasn't been used before.
- It has some action.
Bottomline. I would rate it mediocre, but all this talk about it annoys me so much. Now, there are so many stories following the same idea that I'm ticked. I hate the whole Vampire genre now. Thinking, writing or saying the word Vampire makes me feel like a retard.
I guess we can't rely on horror stories in this genre anymore >:-(

Re: Twilight: love it, hate it?
I guess you don't know much about the vampire genre cameron. Twilight is doing nothing new or unique. There are countless romantic vampire/werewolf stories out there. This one is only so popular because it's aimed at young girls who are known to blow things way out of proportion.

True, very true, I can think of one other series only though, but that's just me...

Well it makes sense that you don't know about more vampire romance novels since you hate those. The only reason I know about it is because I read a lot, pretty much anything I can get my hands on.

Can we all just agree to watch Dracula 3000 (It has COOLIO in it!) and take a nap?

Re: Twilight: love it, hate it?
I'd much rather watch that movie if my other choice is Twilight. How about Transylvania 6-5000?

Re: Twilight: love it, hate it?
to me, its BAD. i cant leave the house without overhearing someone talking aboout it. the only thing that would make the movie better would be if Simon Belmont was the main character.

What would be even better was if he used his whip in some scenes...

I never seen any of the Twilight movies or read any of the books so I don't know if I like it or not.

Re: Twilight: love it, hate it?
The wife saw it with her sister. She said it was really boring and doesn't understand the fuss. It was funny hearing her pick on her older sister, calling her a pedophile and a cougar because she thought one of the kids was hot.

Re: Twilight: love it, hate it?
I thought the book was worth the read. Not the best book ever, but a good book if you look into it enough. I did not like the movie, since just about 75% of all the characters either didn't exist or had about one line in the movie.
I read most of the second book, found it had less to offer, tossed it aside and picked up a war novel.
