I agree that most remakes suck, but Clash of the Titans has such outdated effects and all that that I actually think a remake could potentially be awesome. Probably not, but there's almost that little glimmer of hope.

I see where you are coming from, but the outdated special effects made the original that much more magical, the movie was about the story, not the effects, like many movies today. They are also going to modify the story so the ADD generation will be able to sit through it.

Yeah, they are going to add in a storyline about a war between Zeus and Hades, which bugs me for two reasons: That never happened in mythology, but mostly it wasn't in the original movie, which was awsome.

I was on the fence about this until I saw who's gonna be in the movie.
Liam Neeson as Zues and Ralph Fiennes as Hades sounds at least interesting. Other than that though the story is nothing like the first movie(or history) so I'll watch it for the action movie part and ignore the tired plot of good guy stops devil from unleashing hell.

Btw since when is Hades equal to the satan? That part is just garbage imo.

Hades has been viewed as Satan since the disney version of 'Hercules', Liam Neeson would make a good Zeus

Liam Neeson will be an amazing Zeus. Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors.

He plays dad in Fallout 3, if you've ever played it.

I think it is because they work together so well, there will be no Satan though, due to the fact that the movie is based in Greek mythology, not Christianity.

It is not an honest mistake. It is a deliberate tactic to get more viewers. If they went with the actual history it would confuse and possibly offend too many people.

Oh, I thought you were refering to the people on this thread, they are definately going to get more viewers with the God vs. Satan thing. If I remember correctly Zeus liked his brother Hades, they were both Olympian gods.
