Gametrailers: Top 10 necessary sequels

Often if a game is great, it recieves a sequal to continue the sucess. Unfortunately,
not all games are created equal, and iconic games don't recieve proper sequals.

I was suprised not to see Duke Nukem on the list, but I think everyone can agree on #1.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo is holding out on releasing games strategically, Kid Icarus, Starfox, Kirby, (don't know if Nintendo owns Kirby or not at this point) they could put out at anytime, but I think they are waiting to fall behind in sales or something.

@sbj: It is true. Big N has been known for holding on to finished games for months and sometimes a few years. Even Miyamoto himself has said Super Mario Galaxy 2 has been finished for six months now.

It's the Dreamcast's killer game, Shenmue.
In my opinion it was SEGA's best game ever.

Shenmue already has a sequel. It was for original Xbox.

they stated Shenmue 3 not 2. I own shenmue on DC. The actual game and it never held my attention.

Nah. Watch it again. They say they want a sequel for Shenmue and show gameplay of the original for Dreamcast.

I'd like to see a sequal to Conkers Bad Fur Day. That game was hilarious! Unfortunately Microsoft canceled the sequal they were doing for XBOX360. Numb skulls.

I voted Starfox. It really needs a sequel! I havent seen a real good one for a while. Conker's Bad Fur Day would be another sequel Id like to see along with Battletoads (as long as its not as hard as the others )

Another one that really needed a sequel was Goldeneye but that sequel is coming out soon for the Wii!

If I'm not mistaken, Capcom lost the rights to Strider and can't make any games until they regan the rights.
