This was actually a really random topic, I was not mad at anything..

@MJ: Why is it that everytime I joke with you you end up taking it personal

1) I just took one of his trophies (makes him mad when someone does that) - I don't mind that, the only time I do mind if its been farmed (ala Sonic 2 >_>)
2) He hates it when people go off-topic anywhere (I learned that the hard way) - I go off topic too, so I don't hate it, I like giving people a hard time though :P

@Timber: just so you know.. if I played the full game of Sonic 2 I could get almost 500k..

I dont like when people say If I did this or If I did that. The point is you have not done it.

so if sonic 2 was the score you lost you lost it because you did not play the whole thing which is your fault.

err, I was saying that to Timber's score, The sonic 2 score only finished 3 levels and beat mine, but this is not the place for that.

Ok this whole thing about going off topic is getting out of control.
I'm sure most people will agree with me when I say that if someone goes off topic on purpose then it's bad. But if someone just derails a topic with something that came up in conversation then thats ok. As long as they don't drag it out for 20 pages(if it gets that bad then a new topic is in order).

There's no reason to be rigid about this. If a forum has overly strict rules then it loses it's personality and people are less likely to sign up/stay around.

wouldn't it be that if someone commented on what someone else said but it is not the original topic choice isn't that the same topic but it just changed the focus for a few moments? what is so wrong about that? usually it goes right back on topic at some point not to long after it went off course..
