Shure we discussed sucky endings like Superman 64 and Ghostbusters for the NES,
but what about the good ones? Which are the best?

I say its Metal Gear Solid: the Twin Snakes (Its a long ending from the Final Boss to the End)

Clock Tower I guess, since it has 8 endings, 4 of them made me lose sleep.

Don't play it at night. Trust me, even things that can't hurt you will terrify you, for example, if you stay in this one room for too long a painting will start to bleed or a door might open on its own.

ive only ever rocked clock tower 2, it mighta been scary if me and my cousin were laughing the whole time. recently, crystal chronicles ring of fate brought a tear to my eye.

hmm this is a good question

I bet Tenser will have some good opinions

I absolutely love the story line of final fantasy 3 (American)and the ending was awesome

but I will always love the ending of final fantasy 2 as my favorite because that was the very first game that I ever beat all the way through

Yeah I agree with Oasis. Those two FF games were a big deal to me at the time. It was the first time a story meant something to me and 3 continued that.
I also liked FF7s story so I guess that counts.

I would say that Pokemon Red/Blue/Green/Yellow have good endings.

Are you talking about the original SNES game? I've never played it. Is a SNES game really that scary?

yes, chrono trigger has some good endings.

the endings of the new prince of persia and shadow of the colossus both have really awesome, similar feeling endings.

it wasnt your conventional ending but the movie was so good it didnt really matter to me how it ended, i liked it

But the most fustraiting (?) ending ever is Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360, you beat
the crappy game and you essential change the timeline so nothing happened, and all
the crap you went through was waisted

I thought the ending sucked as well. I just couldn't grasp what the ending had to wrap it all up. I mean not story wise but like with the meaning and stuff.

Can't blame the Cohen bros for the ending since it's from a book. It's too bad though, besides the ending I liked the movie. Everyone did a good job overall.

I think my all time favorite Coen brothers movie is still The Big Lebowski. That has a great ending too.
