Any new (good) anime

Hey its The Doctor again. I use to be a big anime fan back in the day. Some of my favorites were The Slayer's, Dragon Ball Z, and anything with giant butt-kicking robots. (Gundam Wing anybody?) Anyway I've been out of the loop for awhile so I was hoping you guys could recommend something good for me to get back into.

Subs or dubs?

Either sub-titled or dubbed it doesn't matter as long as the story can hold my intrest.

If you haven't watched the Death Note series, I'd recommend that.

If you're looking for mainstream I'd go with Death Note and Elfen Lied.

If you want to stray off the main path some really excellent stuff I'd recommend is:
