If ten or more people sign up then the winner will receive a badge.
500 points to sign up. The winner keeps all points. So if 10 people sign up you get a badge and 4,500 points plus you get your 500 sign up points back.
This game is loosely based on
British Bulldogs.
- One person (me or a volunteer) starts out as the bull.
- Everyone else has until midnight of each day to submit a game name.
- The bull has until midnight of the next day to beat your score.
- Any scores submitted outside of the 24 hour period do not count.
- If the bull beats your score then you become a bull.
- Play repeats until there is only one person left and everyone else is a bull.
- The last person left is the winner.
- You can not submit the same game twice.
- If you do not submit a game each day then you automatically lose and become a bull.
- In the event of a tie the bull loses.
- If you submit a game name but do not submit a score, then your score will be counted as a zero. So If the bull submits any score you lose and become a bull. If the bull also submits a zero then you survive another round.
- If all remaining humans are captured in a single day - leaving no winner - then the humans captured on the last day get a second chance but all but 1 bull from the previous rounds are removed. That sounds confusing. I will explain it better if it actually happens.
- You may form alliance or use any other strategy that you want.
- The contest will start once it seems like everyone that wants to has had a chance to sign up - a few days from now.
Example game play:
Day 1.
Sabby picks 3D Tetris
Tenser picks 1943
Tails picks Double Dragon
Kong is the only bull. He beats Sabby's 3D Tetris score making Sabby be a bull next round. Tenser and Tails beat Kong's scores in their games. So they stay humans.
Day 2.
Tenser picks 1944.
Tails picks Sonic.
Sabby beats Tails' Sonic score making him a bull. Tenser beats both Kong's and Sabby's 1944 score.
Tenser stays a human and is the last player left. He is the winner.
Simple version of rules:
Step 1. Post here and say you want to play.
Step 2. I will take 500 points from you.
Step 3. Wait until more people sign up.
Step 4. You have until midnight the day after the contest starts to post a link to a game - must be score enabled, on RU and not have a max score.
Step 5. You have until midnight of the next day to post a score. The bulls have the same time limit to beat your score.
Step 6. If a bull beats your score you become a bull. If not then you stay human.
Step 7. Repeat Step 5 and 6.
Step 8. The last human left wins.
