Basic start off: cheesy pasta I'm eating as I type this.

I don't know where it originates from, but I know that you can get it at virtually any restaurant in Canada.

I made some pretty kick butt sausages last night, I didn't take a picture though.

And for the record, poutine is over-rated. It's kinda like ordering a club-sandwich, you can get it from 10 different places, and they will all taste the same, just kinda falls into this category of generic. There are some exceptions of course, sometimes you'll find a poutine that stands above the rest. Oddly enough one of my favorite poutins is A and W's.

I just had a chorizo & egg burrito, chips and salsa, and a soda. I mainly just see jalapenos and a varity of habanero peppers around here.

Anyone heard of a Frito Pie? They are pretty popular in Texas but I've never heard of them anywhere else.







Basically it is a taco salad but you replace the taco shell with frito chips and you replace the meat with chilli.

You must not watch King of the Hill. That show put it on the map, you can find all kinds of Peggy Hill frito pie recipes online.

It's the same thing as a frito boat which is very common, especially at sports events; this is because it's cheap and filling.

They are selling the Frito bag one now at US Cellular Field here in Chicago. They call it a "Walking Taco".

You're not one of the freaks who thinks red beef "isn't cooked" are you? Any beef cooked past medium rare is just ruined, science teaches us so.

the more the steak is cooked the less juices there are in it. The less juices there are the less taste there is. Once your steak has been fried for a short time (at the point it reaches blue rare or rare) the juices are sealed into steak. From this point onward the heat is forcing those lovely juices out of the steak. People are often put off that a rare steak contains lots of blood. This is a fallacy: a good quality steak shouldn’t bleed much (if at all) either.

I like my meat medium rare, hot in the center but still juicy rare.

Tried the new mexican joint that opened up nearby. Was really unimpressed, my beef burrito was really bland.

I get my pizza from here with: pepperoni, sausage, candian bacon, mushrooms, garlic, and jalapenos. I also really like their spumoni and cannolis.
