I know, I'm Mr. Question Man this week - sorry. I did 2 attempted speed runs at Donkey Kong coinop - clearing the first level only, since there were other speed run scores in the list. I didn't see any way to comment on the submissions beforehand. Am I just wasting moderator time again? Does anyone really care about that sort of speed run? Speed run to me has always been something like one of the Mario, Sonic, or other games where there's a discreet finish. I probably just answered my own question.

To be clear, I didn't mean that your questions of clear submissions were wasting moderator time. I mean that the current process that we use to review clear submissions was wasting moderator time.

I think speed runs are one of the reasons why tracking clears the way we do is better than backlogery.

I imagine very few people care about a DK speed run. Speed runs in games with clear endings are normally more interesting.
