Fictional duels
What if you could pit fictional characters against each other? Now you can. I am quite sure that some of you may have been debating about this for some time.
The rules are that that:
You must state clearly who you think will win.
You must give a clear and concise explanation as to why your choice should win.
If you have any suggestions as to future duels, please send me a private message.
This week Gandalf vs. Dumbldore.

Re: Fictional duels
I say Gandalf., considering that he's Gandalf the White and he could beat the Balrog and Sauron, and not only uses magic but wields a sword as well... I think he can easily take Dumbledore.
Besides, a magic wand against a staff?
I wasn't sure about a couple of things so I asked my boyfriend (he's a fan of both books). Gandalf's isn't human, he's a maia and therefore immortal while Dumbledore might be a wizzard, but he's human.

Re: Fictional duels
Gandalf, he's actually more than an old man with a wand, he can actually fight.

Re: Fictional duels
Yeah he's literally more than just a old man, he's basically a demi god in the Tolkien universe.

Re: Fictional duels
I wanna reread it too but I know I'll never get through it again. Once I've read a book I lose my desire to read it.

Me too, my problem here is that it was like three years ago, and I expected more action, I hardly made it through. Now I can read much duller books.

Re: Fictional duels
I read it like ten years ago so I'm almost at the point where I forgot enough to make it readable. I guess old age has some benefits

You aren't old, I'm just young, and with age comes experience awesome lies exaggerated stories to tell children.

Re: Fictional duels
Gandlaf would win. Dumbledore is a just a boring old man with a stick.
Dudebro the beard is what makes you look old.

Re: Fictional duels
Good choice for a duel jim but I'd have to say R. Lee Ermey would win. Not only is the most badass drill sergeant on film he's also an actual Marine who served with distinction in Vietnam.
Clancy Brown is cool but it's hard to compare to that. I guess he needs more badassery to win this duel. Good thing he was also The Kurgan in the Highlander movie-

He killed Sean Connery, that's badass right?
@Tails and Demon-mask - I may be old but I'm still cooler than both of you combined
