News on Tenser?

I was wondering why he hasn't regained any trophies and I saw that he hasn't been active for seven days. Anyone know why?

David man45, its nice you want to see RU active, but if we e-mailed everybody who wasn't active for a week i'm sure problems would erupt.

though i still think some of us should make a weekly paper, ive got experience.

Actually my home comp bit the dust beyond repair. I had to wait for a new comp to be delivered. I'm back.

That's completely fine as they're mainly scores I put up in one or two tries while just checking out some TG-16 games I've never played before. When I get bored and have nothing better to do I'll claim them back if I can.

If you want help I'll let you know that if I beat a game and still don't claim the high score I wont go back for it again. Its just too boring. See Aero Blasters for the GG for an example.

Right now though I'm very ill and still getting the new comp to where I want it. I have contests and team contests to worry about and I'll be spending most of my free time at work on my NES completed list and maybe a Crystalis shrine. High scores are just goofy things to spend my extra time on and never a priority. Look how long it took me to get motivated to take my Rad Racer score back.

I know, I was looking at old apple games, and number munchers came up. Just looking at the crazy number eating guy makes me smile. I may have to change my avatar for a while...

Though the pic of the comp doesn't show for me, you are correct. The old comp had only on disc drive and a whopping 256megs of ram. There were quite a few times I couldn't submit a score because the comp was lagging which made the games easier, therefore it'd be cheating in my eyes. FYI, 4gigs of ram now.

4 gigs?! Jeez, I am stuck in the past. My PC only has 512 Megs. I really need to update, but it doesn't help that I need old RAM that isn't easy to find, and when I do find it it is outrageously priced.

I'm jealous of your new computer.

IMO. Stick with Windows Vista and then when that goes obsolete in another year or two switch to Linux. Linux isn't quite ready for regular home users yet but at the pace it is going it will be in a couple years. No point in ever switching to Mac unless you want to edit movies.
