Maybe it's not the same system between the two versions. In Civ4 Warlords when you go to the city screen you have about 16 squares to build on, but as the city grows your cultural borders go out beyond that cross shaped section. The max amount of workable squares on the city screen doesn't go past @16 squares but the cultural borders expands hugely. My question is about the squares beyond the city screen. I swear when I mine/farm/ect in the beyond I get the resource(iron/coal/wheat/ect). But I don't notice any effect from basic worker improvements. I wish I had the manual but I don't
Yeah I know about all the other stuff, irrigate/road the resource ect. I'm just looking for more advanced info.[br]

There's more activity nowdays so maybe some of you newer people have more info about Civ. If it's hard to understand my questions I can take a screenshot of my game to try and make it clearer.
