They're even going to put out a game. Maybe we could get a little contest going on here, see who gets the most coupons.

How so? It's going to increase their business. I don't buy Dominos, but if they give a box with the Noid on it or something with the Noid, I might just go get one.

Bringing it back after 23 years seems like it's a cash grab to me. Why else would they bring it back after so many people forgot about it?

If you guys haven't had a Dominoes pizza recently you really should. It's not healthy at all really but man are they delicious. They rejuvenated their recipe because of lots of negative comments about it. They succeeded.

As for the Noid, meh. Dominoes is just looking for some news coverage I bet he doesn't stick around long.

They are giving away a free pizza every minute to the high score holder of an arcade style flash game.

That is over 10K pizzas. I wonder if the scores reset every minute or if in theory you could set the high score in the first minute, never be beat and take all 10K pizzas.

That's an interesting decision of Domino's, but at least they aren't giving
us their NES game, the controls always felt broken.

@DB: That woman is insane, how could she stay to play the demo while in

@Kong- I forget if you do or not but for this contest I think you need a facebook account.

@SJB- They did say that at first they weren't sure if it was real or false labor. But it goes on to say that it became clear that it was real and she still stayed. I could understand if it was something very memorable, like the swearing in of the president, but just for a game demo is dangerous and ignorant. She'll play the hell out of the game when it comes out, what's the big deal?

I suck at these kind of games but my wife tried a few times and got like 25th place. Some people are getting crazy scores so there could be some cheating going on.

If you edit the .swf file, you can manipulate it to behave as you'd like it to, you can control how many points are earned, or even make your high-score literally unreachable by capping the score short of that.

The .swf file is the flash game itself.

In case anyone is still interested in this it seems like the targets further back are worth the most. Also there's some special thing that pops up and if you get it your cursor becomes huge and makes hitting targets much easier.
