Got XB Live now

Yeah, figured I'd test out that free month of gold membership before I move in a little over a month, lol. Anyways, got it now until I'm gone for the summer so I'd really enjoy playing Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 with anyone here that wants to. Only games I enjoy on the 360 but I love them. Specifically Left 4 Dead 1 since 2 wasn't as good.

How ironic, I borrowed an xbox from someone, and they also have L4D. Now if only i knew how to connect to the internet.

Just played L4D offline...a Tank came out of nowhere and owned all 4 of us with a car. Guess the Tank got a strike...

No I borrowed it but my friend sold it. Download that demo and try it out, it's free and takes no effort. I want people to see how cool that game is.

I shoot her...in the back of the head with a shotgun. It kills her in 1 hit. I even got an achievement for it.

I agree with that statement Jim.

Although, I think the games on Wii ad 360 are a tie with Nintendo winning out in the cutesy games and 360 in the serious ones, I think Sony has no game whatsoever other than a few exclusives like Drake's Fortune, God of War, and Resistance.

Other than that, the PS3 is basically just the best Blu Ray player on the market to me, and I game on 360/Wii.

When it comes to online, no one can touch Live in terms of online content and service.

I hate people being poor sports though. Was playing survival in L4D 1 and every time I was on the human team I'd be killing 90 percent of the special infected not to mention before they could touch anyone. so next time I was on the human team some guy from the previous infected team was also there and tried to kill me in the safe room. People were also screaming through there mics or whatever to stop killing them when I was killing all the infected (them). It was funny but it sucks to see the amount of poor sports playing the game.

Sweet! They have a version of doom released with co-op and multiplayer over xbox live! I'm so going to get that Asap. Anyone wants to play that one with me is more than welcome I also have Halo 3 which I might play.

I agree. The Wii may have a stable, reliable service compared to PSN but it has no actual communication. It's like having a console with no controllers. Nintendo needs to get in touch with reality if they wanna compete online.

100% agreed. the strength in the wii is not in the online community. when i play the wii, it is for the experiences that it specifically offers, i.e. nintendo based entertainment...mario, metroid, zelda, etc.

i brought up the xbox greater than all other comment. to rank in that way was based on my experience... most satisifaction with xbl, next with wii (not for gameplay, based more on vitural console) then finally psn, which is unquestionably inferior to xbox live. in reality, wii should be left out...the online debate is really between xbox and ps3

It's even cheaper if you buy the 12 months of Gold on Amazon.com. It's only 39.99 USD for the whole year. That's what I do now.
