NES vs SNES

Hey guys, I posted this a few days ago but here we go again. I just have to ask which system in your opinion was the best all-around. Me, being in '94 have to go with the SNES because I just grew up with that system and it has some of the greatest games in history (Super Mario World, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Final Fantasy III (Six in Japan). Though Sabby did remind me of how easier games got with the Super NES and the NES revived the dying industry. Sabby reminded me of those fond memories I had playing Double Dragon late at night with cousins, shooting the gangsters in Hogan's Alley, and of course the monumental Super Mario Bros. 3, my favorite game of all time. Well, please reply.

Well SNES has some great games but I'll go with NES. Without NES, there would not be SNES or any other Nintendo series. NES is definitely the greatest.

I'll have to second that.

I do love all the nintendo systems but NES is just different to me. I grew up with NES and then Snes so my opinion is skewed alittle. I played the shit out of NES, played so many of the games. Everyone I knew had an NES. You could say it changed my life forever. It made me the video game lover I am today. ;D

I still vote SNES. Though watching any home movie that was filmed when I had an NES in my possession, I never did anything but play Ninja Turtles 2 for the NES.

I change my vote from SNES to both.

I also change my choice from SNES to both. Those systems are to hard to choose from. NES started my love of gaming and that is the system I have the fondest memories for but it was the SNES that turned me into a hardcore gamer.
