Sonic 2 owns the other two sonics, I love sonic 2 because of Oil ocean, Hillside, Chemical plant, and the last world whatever it was called, Sonic 2 pwns!

MKII, SOM, and FFIII. I'm not that big of a Sonic fan either if only because every game seems to be exactly the same, but Sonic 2 was seen as revolutionary at the time because it introduced Tails and the 2 player game for the Sonic series.

Sonic 2 introduced these features in general I believe, but I was referring to the Genesis/Mega Drive version. This version won a lot of Game Of The Year awards in many magazines and periodicals at the time.

oh yeah
i must of completed that game like a million times when i was little, but when i come to play it again about a year ago, i couldnt get past the last fight with the big doctor robotnik

sonic went poo after knuckles
i mean they started adding all these new charicters and i dont have a clue who they are

and it went poo
after they started callin dr robotnik - eggman
i know it was his nick name but come on!

it just didnt feel the same after that did it?

Robotnik was always called "eggman" in Japan. Then when the Dreamcast came out it was kind of all the rage to make your games super Japanese, so they started keeping things Japanese instead of changing them for US release.

Anyway, I voted for none of the above because I don't think any of these games are very good.

Mega Man X (remember when people thought that the X meant 10? haha)and Link's Awakening (not the best Zelda game, but it had a certain charm about it that no other non-gameboy Zelda achieved)
