superhuman battles
If one or a few superhumans attacks a nation or planet, and another superhuman/few superhumans defends against the aggressors, which leads to an epic battle, then is that a police/security action, or a war? Films with superhumans, especially superhero films, often bring up whether it is appropriate when a superhero kills or doesn't kill a supervillain. My answer to that debate is that in a police/security action, the hero musn't kill, but in war, he/she may, because this is how the situations occur in reality. My question here is what consitututes a war and what doesn't. I suppose that the official station of either side, as well as how many allies/agents/henchpersons fight alongside either side, matters to the issue.
I didn't know whether to put this in 'Chat' or 'Debate,' but although it's a debate it didn't seem that it was serious enough for 'Debate.'
