well today the cleveland indians made the worst trade ever!!!

we gave c.c to milwaukee brewers for matt laporta(AA) and to single A prospects

what is that!

yes he is having a bad year but people get better! i completely disagree with this trade but if you agree with this or whatever please post it here!

Then again, they didn't really trade because they wanted to.

mj..... calm down. it's a better trade than you think it is. trust me(im a Marlins fan.)We gave up Josh beccet and mike lowll(sorry for the misspellings) for Hanley Ramirez. and no florida fan is complaing about that. Sabathia i do belive is in the last year in his contract. and in my mind was going to go test free agency. so the tribe decided to get something instead of nothing. you were going to lose him anyway.

@Tails: the indians may not win 2 games against the Reds. but Sabathia is 3-0 vs the Reds. and he's just been traded to there division. :P

also Matt LaPorta. is batting .288 with 20 homers and 66 RBIs in 84 games in AA. and Cleveland is lacking offense right now. i'm not saying that he going to get the Indians an instant offensive boost. but the least you can do is give him a shot and watch out for his name in the future. that's why i'm not that mad right now about Florida trading away Wills and Cabrera away. Also Cleveland still has an ace in Cliff Lee.(11-2 with an 2.43 ERa and 99 Ks)

now oakland just made one of the worst trades ever... insted of tradeing for offense they traded away there ace in rick harden... there still in a division race with LA.... if they got some offense then they'll probally be leading the division right now...... and i bet sabby is happy that oakland is not a factor anymore.

I will never count the A's out, they always find a way to get the most out of the talent they have. Also, the Lakers look pretty good, even in defeat, so things are looking up for me in the sports world.

The Sabathia trade is going to turn out to be a bunch of hype. He walked 5 in 6 innings of work in his debut for the Brewers tonight and he's not the same pitcher he was last year. I don't think he has many good years left anyways because of his delivery (he throws across his body while nearly falling off the mound) and his work ethic (dude looks like he survives on Krispy Kremes). Plus, the Brewers aren't going to make the playoffs. The Cubs are going to win the Central and the wild card is going to come out of the East.

If I were to put the shoe on the other foot and consider if my team, the Phillies, were in the same situation and made a similar move I would probably be happy in a bittersweet kind of way. It's apples and oranges though because the Phillies have a greater capability of going out and paying for somebody rather than having to rely on their farm system to develop players, which is what the Indians are attempting to do.

So MJ, the moral of this story is that you might end up eating your words.
