Re: SNES games not working!

Sigh.
  1. Are you interested in using TeamViewer (more info below)? No
  2. What is your OS? Example Vista, XP, Mac OSX, etc. Windows 7
  3. What is your browser? Example Firefox 3.5, Internet Explorer 7, etc. IE 9.
  4. Post a link to one game you are having problems with. Mario and Wario - Super Nintendo
  5. What Play Mode is causing the problem? Example ArcadeOX Score, Java Full, etc.
  6. Has it ever worked correctly before?
  7. Describe the problem. Error: game didn't load
ArcadeOX Full or ArcadeOX Score?
Has it ever worked?

Do other SNES games work?

Re: SNES games not working!

These questions are not hard. The support is free, please read everything I write and don't make me work this hard.

Did you click the ArcadeOX Full Mode link or the ArcadeOX Score Mode link?

Re: SNES games not working!

Thank you.

Press Windows Key + R to open a Run Prompt. Windows key is to the left of the space bar and has a flag on it.

In Run Prompt paste

%temp%\arcadeox\

press enter.

IF
that fails to open a folder then change it to

%temp%\Low\arcadeox\

and press enter again.

That should open a window and in it you should see a folder and a zip file named "super-nintendo".

Move (NOT Copy) the super-nintendo folder and zip file to a new location such as the desktop.

Then play Mario and Wario - Super Nintendo in ArcadeOX Full Mode.

If that works, please put all of the moved files into a single zip file and email them to admin@retrouprising.com so I can see what went wrong and make sure it doesn't happen in the next version.

Nobody ever completes this final step which prevents me from being able to analyze the problem and permanently fix it. I would really appricate it if you send me the broken files.

If you had any Super-Nintendo save states they should be in the folder you moved to the desktop. You will need to move the save states back to the arcadeox folder to use them. After you send the old files to me and restored your save states you can delete them.

Re: SNES games not working!

There is the super-nintendo folder though?
If yes, follow the instructions above but skip the part about the zip.

Re: SNES games not working!

Guess what? It's not working again. Only this time, it gets stuck on the loading screen. It's worked before, when u told me the solution. Same system & browser. Here's another example: Wario's Woods - Super Nintendo

Re: SNES games not working!

Try the same instructions above again.

It would really help in preventing this problem if you also did this part.

Re: SNES games not working!

I didn't receive the email. Gmail blocks exe files even in zip files. Which is really annoying.

If you still have the original one from a couple weeks ago could you try uploading it here as an attachment.

Is Warrio's Woods the only game that isn't working?

Are you still using Full Mode?

Re: SNES games not working!

Please allow up to 24 hours before bumping the thread. Kong is not on here 24/7 as he may need to do other things like eat, sleep, and other real world things. I apologize for the inconvenience and I would help you out, but this is a bit out of my area of expertise. I was getting the ERROR GAME DID NOT LOAD with IE. I downloaded FireFox and played with FF instead. That actually even fixed my IE loading problems. Maybe that will work for you too.

Re: SNES games not working!

The instructions I provided above should fix it. Not sure why they would not.

What do you mean you could play the games but it was freezing?
