The Game:
Spellcaster for the
Sega Master System is a very unusual hybrid for its time. We've all played
platform/action games. We've had our fair share of
shooter/scrollers. And most of us have enjoyed the occasional
Strategy/Adventure. But how many of us have played all three in the same game? That's right, Spellcaster is a platform/point-n-click game with a splash of shooter thrown in at the end for good measure. The minds at
Sega released this highly underrated title back in 88'/89'. First in Japan as
Kujaku Ou (Spirit Warrior) and then in NA and Eur in its current title. Heck, the even had their publishing buddy
Tec Toy republish it in South America as
Warrior Quest.
The Challenge:
You are to defeat the final boss using as little energy as possible. Any spell you use (excluding the password spell) will cost you energy, including heal. Once you've defeated the boss take a screenie of him with your energy meter on screen and PM it to me. You MAY use continues.
