For the next two weeks, I will be in Indonesia, where I will be subjected to a bazillion relatives/family friends telling me how big I've grown. I look forward to it. :nomore: That's not even mentioning the state of toilets in rural Indonesia...:blank:
At least it will be a change of scenery. Anyway, you all have fun without me for two weeks, okay?

Take care, Celinta! While it doesn't sound like the grooviest time, try to make the best of it and have some fun! We'll hold down the fort until your return.

You never told us how the Scrabble playoff went. When you get back you should tell us how you did.

I guess this is a good thread to let everyone know that there was a big ice storm here yesterday. about 80% of the city does not have power and I am lucky enough to be on-line right now. I only get to stay on for another 10 minutes or so, and likely won't be able to get back on for a week or so.
Take care.

I got my power back today, and I am so incredibly happy to be back. Days are pretty dull when you can do nothing but keep a fire going and go outside to chop up fallen trees.
Ice storms suck.

Anyway. Back now.
Note to other people: Don't eat indonesian McDonald's. The beef tastes like cardboard.
On TMT's post: I read that as an 'ice-cream' storm. O_o. Then again, I haven't slept properly in um, 48 hours, so I think I'm excused. :P
On the Scrabble: I um, came 40th out of 50th people, but I had to forfeit my last game because my dad booked the plane ticket too early for our return flight.

And even 9 more than I did. So, did you disown your dad afterwards?

I'm sorry if I become really quiet over the next few weeks. School is taking up a *lot* of time. The last few days I've gotten home around 5:30, which leaves me time to eat dinner and do a bit of homework.
I'm going on school camp on Monday and will obviously not have internet access. Just thought I'd let you know...

I cannot see what school camp would have anything to do with grades considering that it's actually meant to be an orientation camp so we get to know the other people in our year level, because we're all new to the school.

Have fun Nat.
School orientations are always a good time if you don't take them too seriously.

I think I already know half of the names of the people in my form group...it'll just be hard to recognise everyone when they're out of uniform! Either way, I feel more at home at my new school in 3 days than I did in two years in my old school.

lol- every school statewide has compulsory uniforms. And I've been going to all girls schools since year 7.
