how to set up my controller for arcade games

I cant figure out how to set up my controller for the arcade games. How do you set it up to use the controller??

press "tab" and it should bring up a menu.

Plug your controller in before you load the game. Should just work without doing anything. If not then press tab and try to set it up that way. If that doesn't work then use the link sabby posted above.

My contoller wont work either,
It works on my PC and worked on my old laptop
but when I download it on my new laptop it says it dosnt support it
could it be anything to do with my laptop being windows 7?
my old laptop was vista,and my PC is XP and they work fine on them.

I've been thinking about getting a controller. Didn't know if it had to be a certain kind or what.

Well with Xpadder, you can easly program it to work.
you set it up to press any keyboard buttons, its really pritty cool.
