Swedish have like the weakest swearwords.
Only recently have we began importing Swedish equivalent of Turkish swearwords which probably have done more to our culture then the falafel-places. What I mean is swear-words which are not religious in nature.
One a scale its. 1. Russian, 2. English and 3. Swedish. We still don't even got an equivalent of "Fuck" in the mean of an general expression. The closest is something akin to "Hell", like "(d)jävla helvete!", which translates to "Devil Hell!"
An other word is "fan", which surprisingly... also translate to "devil".
Don’t confuse it with "fan
n", though. It means "found".
Many translators translates "Jävla" to "Fuck" because they are so ashamed....
An common word heard among youngers to day is "Fitta", which now means cunt but it used to mean "wet marchland"...
