Oh yes, it is staged.
It's just like politics:
Democrats and Republicans pretend to hate each other during debates and elections, then later go for dinner and drinks together where they plan out the next staged event.
It's the same here in Canada, only with more political parties.

The wrestlers are performing a dance which they have practiced extensively before their scheduled matches.
It makes for great entertainment, but it's not easy to do.
