rjk93, did you change your name? I think you did. That causes your save states to not work. I can fix it if you tell me your old name.
If that is not the cause of your save loss, let me know the last time you successfully used the save and when you first noticed that it did not work.
I am not going to add Game Boy games right now. When I do add Game Boy games it is possible that Legend of Zelda The Oracle Of Ages and Legend of Zelda The Oracle Of Seasons will not be added because they have bugs that can not be fixed.
