I think it should be on the home page and at the side of every game (e.g. If I am playing Starfox there will be a chatbox to the left hand side and an option to hide it).Check nonoba.com and kongregate.com to see what I mean.

P.s. I am not advertising, I am just trying to show you what I mean.
