That's a great question and I am not arrogant enough to claim to have the answer.
What I will say is that I do not trust either of the presidential or vice-presidential candidates in this election. I know the Obama campaign is hammering the "real change" and "change we need" campaign slogans, but real change is not going to take place in this country until a third party comes to power (unlikely) or some type of unprecedented event takes place (more likely) that forces government as we know it to evolve into something different.
