I honestly don't know, I don't know squat about how the economy works. Just thinking about it, and at the risk of sounding like a moron, I'd suggest rethinking how people/companies are taxed. Intensify the scale so that there is a limit to how much an entity can monopolize.
People would still be able to be extremely wealthy -hard work and smart decision making earns them this right, but it needs to be limited. There is no point in anyone having Bill Gates money, 90% of his wealth could disappear and he probably wouldn't even notice.
I know it's not that simple, but its the best I have for an answer.
