When I joined R.U. I was 10 years old. I loved old video games ever since my parents bought me that PS2 disc with a collection of SNES games. At that point I was still very weird and I didn't know how to interact with other people. I had some friends but thinking back on that now I think they used to tease me a lot.
Anyways, I never engaged in the forums or in chat because I never saw them. I just liked playing the games, although I never tried to master them or get 1st place in those games.
I don't remember what happened first, but I believe I started going to the chat when I was on a trip to the Philippines. I just saw the chat button there and I thought it would be fun to talk to somebody on the site. I think the first person I ever talked to was Drunkninja (now:
DrunkN). After that I think started getting more active in the chat, but not as much in the forums. I still posted some stuff there but my activity there wasn't so big.
Looking back on my forum posts and remembering whenever I went on chat, I don't know how you guys could stand me. I was annoying and stupid. Nowadays I like to believe I'm past that but I don't know. I still like this website and its members. It's one of the first and only forums I've ever signed up for, and lucky for me because the community here is one of the nicest.
