So the Patriots were, shall we say, stretching the rules yesterday. Thoughts?

If you don't know, they adopted a technique where they pulled a lineman out of the game and replaced him with an extra skill player who then reports as ineligible to touch the ball and lines up split out as a WR. Baltimore then had little tme to read and adjust before the ball was snapped.

Apparently this is legal per the NFL rules(but probably not for long when the NFL changes it after the season, or at least how long the defense gets to adjust). It may be legal, but to me it's a shady technique to use just because you found a loophole in the rules.
