I mean forced like the story doesn't seem to flow smoothly. I'm not great at expressing myself so it's hard for me to explain.
Maybe the problem is the type of stuff you've read. What kind of books have you read? I don't mean like read for school and forget a couple days later. I mean like what kind of stories interest you? I assume it's anime stuff since from what I know of you that's your thing. I've read some anime(manga?) and it seems similar to what you've written here. My opinion might not be helping you if that's the style your going for. I'm more into stories with alot detail and character development. Stuff like Lord of the Rings, Dune, ect.
