I looked into this before ( But not specifically for 8-bit Composure) , There are MANY programs that DO Compress and convert MP3 files to MIDI. I make music as well as produce so I do have some experience ( If you will ) with these sorts of things. Just wanted to give a heads up to let you guys know it is worth the google to check out some programs to see what suits your ability or if your computer savvy. Another thing that I really wanted to mention is what will really make these Composures Kick-Ass is uploading your completed MIDI files to FruityLoops and adding a nice drumkit or even mapping out your own kit!
