If you hide your gameplay you're actively avoiding a challenge. If your gameplay can be so easily duplicated by just watching a video then it's not that special.

If a score is first place on all the leaderboards then it is the current World Record whether someone can watch their inputs or not. Your way of thinking just doesn't make any sense. It sounds like you're trying to include some idealism into what a World Record is.
There is no difference between "the current high score" and a "world record."

Issue is, that's a perfect world scenario and it's just not true.
