Agreed. .106 came out in 2006. You don't have to use a "retro" version of MAME to do retrogaming. MAME has had a ton of fixes and new games added since 2006.
Unfortunately, I doubt TG will move away from .106 any time soon.

Kong, is there a way to get "raw" inp files from RU submissions that would be compatible with a "standalone" version of MAME, or are things customized enough at the file/MAME level on RU as to make that technically difficult?
The reason I ask is that while TG uses a different MAME version, MARP allows submissions using any version of MAME, provided it isn't for 1st place on the game (1st place requires a version of WolfMAME). If the raw inp was available and it worked in a standalone version of MAME, those of us that play at both RU and MARP could take our RU submission and also submit it to MARP.
