I am rather hungery and don't feel like going out or getting a delivery and I have almost no food in the house except bread and ramen, so I scavange and find an ancient Knott's jam (unopened) and 1-2 year old Farmer John's Bacon (unopened).

I want to know if these are still good, the jam is probably 5 years old (I didn't like the answers I found online so far), furthermore; will I get sick and will it taste like [EDIT: excreted solid bodily waste]?
