I love the Three Kingdoms games but the only ones I really played a lot were the Snes ones. The newer ones are just kinda meh to me. They have cool new features but it seems like they went away from the slow micromanaging, that was their appeal for me.
Nobunagas Ambition was just brutal and ridiculous imo. I don't think I ever made it a full year without my dude dying or some other tragic incident giving me game over.
