SNES game
It's an RPG that I remember playing through about 98% when I decided it would be a good idea to get rid of all my SNES stuff and get a PS2. I wish I had that decision back.
Anyways, here is what I remember.
It's a dungeon game where you start on floor one and go deeper into the dungeon as the game goes on. You have a map button so you can see where you've explored. There are four in your party and you get to chose how your party is made up. I don't remember what type of characters you had to chose from but it seems like you had a wizzard for casting spells, and a couple of different type of fighters. What I remember most is that you could name each member of your party. The reason I remember the naming part is that I gave them all dirty names.
The game play is you walk around the dungeon which is a maze and as you are exploring, you get into battles but you don't actually fight. You just chose between different options which I think were to fight, parry, run or spell. You have hit points and the monsters have hit points. There are also rooms that you go into where you find certain items and the portals to next floor down.
This one has been eating at my for a long time that I never finished this game. I looked through all of the SNES games last night and couldn't find the game. I thought it was a Final Fantasy game but the ones I looked at last night weren't anything like what I remember playing.
Any help on this one is greatly appreciated.
