You can pick a direction and strike out on your own, once you settle down you can apply for an area. I need to refine the maximum but just say a 12x12 plot is the maximum for free. so you find an area and say, i want this. I give you exclusive rights to that 12x12 area. if you want more than you have to pay depending on how big you want it. say 13x13 is 2 credits. 14x14 is 4. etc. Payment will be using Iconomy credits, which can be gotten with things like gold. I'll work out exchange rates and pricing for larger plots and the size of free plots.
