No, but it seems like you would happily turn off the internet to 'save' the industry from the purported boogieman of online gaming even those the vast majority of gamers use it and like it.
Hackers are a uncontrollable factor of doing business on the internet. They hit everyone on the internet, nobody is immune. To criticize a company simply for being hacked is silly. To criticize them for a misleading and delayed reponse is a totally different thing.
