Here we go again with another episode of Retronauts -- and a disturbingly relevant one at that. This week, we have guests Ray Almeda and John Greiner from
MonkeyPaw Games, talking about their attempts to revive
BurgerTime for the 21st century with their newly-released
BurgerTime World Tour -- which is available on the XBox Live Marketplace as you read this very sentence. While technical issues cut our conversation a bit short, we still managed to have a good discussion about fried beef, the inexorable march of time, and how these two elements come together in a game where you make giant hamburgers with your feet. Thanks again to Ray Barnholt and Chris Kohler for coming in and surprising the MonkeyPaw Games guys with their immeasurable knowledge of gaming history. Oh, and for more information on MonkeyPaw, kindly find your way to
their Twitter.

Burgertime World Tour Contest Info
In the words of the great philosopher Milhouse Van Houten, the mark of a quality program is one in which you win things simply by being part of the audience. So, being the host of a realistic down-to-earth show that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots, I have decided that now is the time for you, the listener, to reap the grand rewards entitled to fans of Retronauts. I'm giving away three copies of BurgerTime World Tour (for XBLA) and three beautiful matching t-shirts to three lucky listeners (one game and shirt each), and entering this little contest involves the following simple steps.
- Go to the iTunes Music Store and write a review of Retronauts. As always, be honest, and for the love of all things burger, don't write something along the lines of "yeah pretty good show I guess please send an XL shirt if possible thx."
- Check the date. If your review is submitted on Thursday, November 4 or Friday, November 5, congratulations! You have now entered a contest. How does it feel to be an actual participant? Call your mother and tell her the good news.Over the weekend, I will devise some random lottery to choose the three lucky BurgerTime World Tour winners. I will track you down, and prizes will be distributed.
That's it -- pretty simple. Please post questions if you have any, though you really shouldn't.
As always, If you'd like us to read your letter on the show and/or feature your envelope art on our blog, write to:
