@Kong- I think all the punishments are outlawed in the US now. Even when I was a kid a teacher couldn't touch a student, but I live in one of the most liberal states in the US. I forget where but you said you grew up in the south right? That explains why you were still getting paddled.

@JG- I think you're giving these kids too much credit. It's not about their questionable futures or w/e, it's about being spoiled rotten. The kid in the video threw a fake punch like guys would do when they're about to really start fighting. To get to the level where you think that's ok to do to an authority figure says more about the way the kids are raised. If I did something like that around my parents I would've regretted it. My mom wouldn't even have to hit me to hurt me, my dad would've though.

@steven- I got busted for shoplifting when I was in high school and my dad asked the judge if he could kick me in the ass and he said it was fine. I thought it was a joke until we got outside.
