Before you begin pirating PSP games, tell me the model of your PSP, if it was a PSP Go or a PSP 3000, you can't do much. If not, then there is a specific motherboard of the PSP 2000 that doesn't work for piracy. Also, if you are going for Dissidia 012, you need the the latest official firmware, so you can't really have CFW and still play it, save for temporary CFW that has been built off of the latest official firmware.

Oh, people have signed various emulators to work on official firmware, so you can get emulators for SNES, NES, Genesis and all sorts of things.
As far as games go, I've got a very long list of recommendations, here's a shortened version of it:
Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble {think River City Ransom + GTA}
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Persona 3 Portable
Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite
Lords of Arcana
Disgaea
Disgaea 2
ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkeath Evilman
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Phantasy Star Portable 2
God of War: Chains of Olympus
God of War: Ghost of Sparta
Metal Slug Anthology
King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga
Samurai Shodown Anthology
Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus
Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX
Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower {the title is something like that}
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
Tekken 6
Metal Gear Acid
Metal Gear Acid 2
