Good points, and thanks guys.
What my heart tells me is that this thread has the potential to endear people to the site through its inherent personal nature, and I personally believe it makes most members feel good to hear well wishes on their BD.
Hell, I feel good just saying that.

By going through the site calendar to see who is celebrating theirs, and then making these posts the way we do reaches out to people in a way that the typical automated pre - written form - letter BD wish most sites send to your contact e mail cannot.

However I will be checking to see if the member is more or less currently active before posting any more.
Or if there actually is a 'Hadouken'.
