You need a gamecube controller to play gamecube games. But once you start downloading games to your virtual console, you can use the Gamecube controller for almost all of them as well. I suggest a wavebird controller so you can keep the "wireless" feel to the whole system.
You can shoot me an email/pm for my sys #, and wiimail address but I'm not sure what to do with them yet, I've just started playing around with it last night/today. My buddy list is empty, so lonely and empty.
As far as Zelda is concerned, I hope the rest of your family is going away for a little bit, so they'll miss you less. You'll be completely immersed, it's amazing.

This is what made christmas day manageable for me. I had parts of my family and my wife's family chillin' in the living room bowling. Brothers trash-talking parents, trash-talking grandparents. This is also the first time I saw my mother and my wife's grand mother play videogames. Having never played a videogame before was something that my mother was proud of...
was. I took great pleasure in pointing out that she could no longer say that.
