Out of context means a message does not have enough info to convey the intended message. It nearly always is in reference to a quote.
Out of character means a person did or said something that you would not expect them to do because it is different than things they have done or said before.
Both are phrases that mean something different than just the words by themselves.

Only possible way would be clicking on a link someone sent you in a PM or chat, and even then unlikely since I think most of the people sending you PMs on here are trust worthy. Also about your wife's chat rooms. That is also the most likely way, she clicking on a link sent in chat.
If you think you have a virus
Boot into safe mode with networking. Repeatedly press F8 while computer is booting for this option.
Go here
HouseCall - Free Online Virus Scan - Trend Micro USA and run their online scan.
Make sure Windows Defender is installed, updated, and running - should be an icon for it by your clock. Run a scan.
Make sure you have a good antivirus program installed and updated. (hint if it let you get a virus in the first place then it might not be good.) Run a scan in Safe Mode.
Reboot into normal windows. Make sure Defender and your antivirus are still running.
