Yeah when it's your arm or your life it's an easy choice to make. But you still have to do the job of actually cutting off your own flesh and bone. That's got to be some nasty midieval pain you're about to inflict on yourself. I honestly don't know if I could go thru with that unless I'm actually in a life or death situation.
