B was really rampant when Vista was newly released.
I have had my Vista computer for 3 years now, and I have never once had a blue screen. Also, I haven't noticed the usual performance degradation on it that happen when the operating system gets older.
I heart my Vista =).

I take this as an insult... I'm although I'm still in college I'm in computer systems... why? because I've been using computers since I'm in kindergarten and can't get enough of them. I know I still have a lot to learn, no one can ever master a single discipline, but I believe I can tell whether an operating system on my computer is garbage or decent. I've only recently started using windows 7, but it is way better than vista. It runs a lot more smoothly, many issues I had with vista have disappeared. For one, when I tell my computer to sleep... it actually goes to sleep instead of showing me the sign in user screen. I know it is not the proper term for that screen but I'm to annoyed by your comment to worry about that. Now when I tell my computer to sleep, it goes to sleep. Oh, and the hibernate option doesn't suddenly disappear on me, yeah, disappear. With vista one day I had the option to hibernate, and for the next few days, sometimes months, the options was gone. Even though I looked for it everywhere, and sometimes it would appear in the advanced energy options, it would still disappear. When I say windows 7 is better than vista, I know what I'm talking about. And about the security alerts, yeah they can get annoying, windows 7 still has a couple of annoying security alerts... but the only thing that bothered me about the vista alerts in vista was that they would freeze my computer. I really couldn't care less about the security alerts, but when having to wait 30min for the alert to come up so that I can continue with an installation is just absurd.
